• Should I book ahead?

We generally prefer ahead bookings, because we operate based on a schedule (which can be seen here) and we need all our vehicles.

We would be sorry not to be able to satisfy the orders of those who have made bookings or for you to miss the opportunity to tour with us by lack of places. The booking is considered valid from the moment of receiving a written confirmation from us.

• Which is your booking cancellation policy?

We offer 100% discount if the booking cancellation is made 48 hours prior to the tour start.
We do not offer compensation for any reason (e.g.: weather, change in travel plans, losing plane / train, diseases, etc.) if the cancellation is made under 48 hours prior to the tour start. In this case, we invite you to reschedule the tour based on a joint agreement.

• In case of bad weather, are the tours cancelled?

No, our tours take place both on rainy days (Braşov is a rather rainy city) and on sunny days. We offer raincoats at our office to all those requiring them. We may reschedule the tours in case of very dangerous weather (storms, strong winds, hail, hurricanes, etc.).

• Do we enter museums?

We do not enter museums or attractions, the segway ride being entertaining enough. However, we will offer you indications on each attraction and you will then choose for yourselves which to visit at the end of the tour.

• Can we take pictures during the tour?

Absolutely. However, please ask your guide to take pictures, so you can focus on riding your Segway. It is best to take pictures when stopping during the tour.

• Can I do what I want during the tour?

No. We advise you to follow the indications of the guide provided for guiding you through the town and for your own safety.
For your own safety, please keep a minimum distance from the previous vehicle of at least 50 cm. Also, do not leave the group for any reason whatsoever.
Races between the participants are forbidden, as they could lead to accidents or injuries.

• Can I rent a Segway without a guide?

Unfortunately, we do not rent our Segways without a guide. Due to the fact that our tours are generally booked, we need all our vehicles for the organized tours.

• Are there limits in using the Segway? Can it be used by children or by persons suffering from disabilities?

Yes, there are some limits imposed by a manufacturer: under 45 kg or over 113 kg. Although riding a Segway is pretty easy to learn and perform, the minimum age is of 14 years (turned). Also, persons suffering from disabilities, who cannot get on or off the Segway without help and who cannot use at least one hand (in order to be able to hold the handle) are not allowed to ride a Segway.
We do not accept drunk persons on our tours.
We reserve the right to select the persons to take the tour.
Any tour starts only after each person gets used to using the Segway; this implies a previous training of approx. 15-30 minutes!!
